Wow can you believe we are in the 11th month of the year? I know its crazy right?
Speaking of crazy this is my first blog ever! I love to connect with my people and this is another way for me to reach y'all (yes I say y'all its my dad's southern roots coming out).
For those who don't know me my name is Shantae and I've been apart of the hospitality industry for over 15 years. I'm still in that line of work but when 2020 hit I knew it was time to find a passion and extend it out to the world. So cue up Shantaeize Your Space which got its official start in May 2021. I specialize in decluttering and repurposing items you already have.
So what has Shantaeize Your Space or (SYS) been up to this last month?
At the beginning of the month I had the pleasure of attending my first Black Girls Who Organize retreat in the DMV area with forty Black professional organizers from all over the country and even people from Canada. It was honestly one of the best experiences I've had in this business. Being able to connect with so many people who we all have the same foundation but we all build our houses differently in to see it all come together. That experience gave me the momentum to really analyze my business and take the month of October to make sure that my foundation is solid so I can continue to build.
During that process I also networked like crazy, got my business on Google, made changes to my website, and joined Fresh Start Registry expert team https://www.freshstartsregistry.com to help folks restarting their lives over with my organizing expertise.
